Social interactions tipping token
Information → tipping
Social tipping makes it possible for users can tip the tweet’s creator with token directly on X or through the TagAI platform — and also earn crypto rewards themselves.
Social Tipping
Social tipping ensures that every social action is accompanied by token flow, and each tip is also an on-chain transaction. There are three main types of social tipping:
Social (Quote) Tipping
X users can reply to or quote any tweet to tip the tweet's creator with token. Simply include the following in the reply or quote tweet:
@TagAIDAO tip $ticker

This is called Social (Quote) Tipping. The tweet will then be synced to TagAI and the blockchain, allowing others to tip it as well.
X Reply Tipping
X users can also reply to any tweet that contains #TagAI #ticker — or to a tweet that includes @TagAIDAO tip $ticker in its replies — by simply commenting with #TagAI to send a tip.

Social Tipping on the TagAI Platform
Any user who has logged in to TagAI and created a web3 social account can directly tip any content on the platform by clicking the 🔥 or leaving a comment. This allows them to tip tokens to the creator.

A single post can receive tips from multiple users. Once a post receives a tip, it enters a 1+2 day tipping window. On the third day, the protocol will calculate the social tipping data the post has received and distribute tokens to the post’s creator and curators (the users who tipped it).
Tipping Eligibility
Before tipping for the first time, users must log in to TagAI and register a Web3 social account.
The Web3 social account allows TagAI to act on the user’s behalf, syncing each tipping comment to social DA protocols like Steem and Farcaster.
The linked wallet address is used to verify that the user holds a token from the TagAI ecosystem. As long as the wallet holds any TagAI ecosystem token, the user can tip creators on X with that token. The tipping weight is determined by factors such as the amount of tokens held.
Tipping Reward Pool
TagAI follows a model where community members tip, and the community reward pool pays out the cryptocurrency.
These tokens are injected by project teams when creating a community on TagAI. They can be existing tradable tokens or new tokens minted using TagAI’s “Tweet-to-Token” feature.
When a community is created, the founder defines:
The distribution rate of the tipping reward pool tokens,
The tipping weight factors, etc., and these parameters are written into the TagAI contract.
According to the contract, the tokens in the reward pool are distributed daily based on the tipping activity of posts within the community, using a Proof-of-Brain algorithm.
20% of the tokens go directly to the post creator,
80% is shared among all tippers (curator).
The number of tokens each tipper receives is determined by:
The total token amount earned by the post,
The tipper’s weight,
The timing of their tip (earlier tippers may receive more), and other factors.
Earning from Content Creation
Any user on X can publish a post with #TagAI and #ticker to publish it directly to the on-chain community associated with #ticker.
Once the post receives a social tip, the post creator and the curators (those who tipped it) will earn $ticker tokens.
Users on X can also host a Twitter Space for a community and publish a Space-related Tweet with #TagAI, #ticker, and the Space link.
This Space Tweet will also sync to the corresponding #ticker on-chain community.
If more than 8 of the top 30 community credit holders socially tip the Space Tweet (by clicking 🔥 via TagAI), then the creator and curators of that Space Tweet will share ¼ of the $ticker tokens earned by the Tweet.
The remaining ¾ of the $ticker tokens earned by the Space Tweet are distributed as follows:
¼ to the Space host,
¼ equally among co-hosts,
¼ to speakers, proportionally based on their speaking time in the Space.
