On-chain Curation Layer

Information → tipping → trading

A New Form of Interaction

If Facebook popularized the act of “like” as a form of social media interaction — a way for users to curate information — then Social Tipping introduces a new interaction model.

Social Tipping provides a new mechanism for curating information, much like how “likes” became central to social media engagement.

An On-Chain Curation Layer

This new interaction method allows users to curate information using on-chain capital — whether from existing tokens or newly created ones.

More importantly, it enables users to embed a token’s ticker and other information (stored on social data availability layers like Steem and Farcaster) into the on-chain transaction linking the curator and the recipient.

As a result:

  • Communities can form on-chain links to people on Web2 social platforms (the recipients of tips).

  • These links are expanded through the social graph of token holders.

  • Curators (tippers) also earn tokens when they tip information on Web2 social networks.

Projects like Pump have already built an on-chain curation layer for Memes, where people use discovery tools like GMGN and Axiom to identify buy signals by analyzing on-chain transaction graphs — much like Google ranks web pages or Facebook surfaces social content.

Following support for X, TagAI and Donut will extend this on-chain curation layer to other platforms like Instagram and TikTok, helping to construct an open social network.

Three-Layer Architecture

To integrate Web2 social platforms without plugins, we use Wormhole3’s Social Oracle. This enables:

  • Seamless Web2 participation — users only need to include #TagAI in their posts.

  • On-chain transactions — all social tipping interactions are recorded as blockchain data.

On top of this foundation, we adopt a three-layer architecture to tokenize communities, content & interactions, and individuals:

  1. Community Tokenize topics, interests, or apps through a combination of:

    • Bonding Curves

    • AMMs (Automated Market Makers)

    • Proof-of-Brain (PoB)

  2. Content & Social Interactions Use PoB to curate content via community credit, which is determined by a mix of community assets and social tokens (IPShare).

  3. Personal IP Everyone is an IP. Each person can issue IPShare (a social token) using a bonding curve.

The bonding curve creates a decentralized liquidity pool (IPShare TVL) for each individual and enables the accumulation of a tamper-resistant on-chain reputation through social interactions.

Social tokens (IPShare), combined with community assets, form community credit, which—together with social tipping as a new form of interaction—enables the discovery and curation of information on Web2 social platforms, while facilitating token distribution for communities.

Tokens for topics, apps, and memes can also be distributed and discovered through a combination of Proof-of-Brain, Bonding Curves, and AMM-based trading, optimizing group coordination and liquidity.

Through this model, we can build an open, decentralized social network. TagAI will serve as the on-chain curation layer for this new open ecosystem.
